Nursery and K.G. – The children do not have any formal tests.  They are evaluated regularly on the basis of their class performance on assessment sheets. Report Books are shown to parents twice a year, i.e., in October and March

PROMOTION POLICY / RULES

  1. in order to Be declared as ‘Passed’ a candidate shall obtain not less than 33% marks in each of the five subjects separately and in aggregate.
  2. Students has to secure 33% marks out of overall 20 marks earmarked in each subject in Internal Assessment too.
  3. A students having less than 75% attendance in an academic session shall not be permitted to appear in the Final Examination.
  4. Students will be awarded Marks as well as grades.
  5. It is mandatory to appear in all Examinations.

MIDDLE SCHOOL EXAMINATIONS

Class VI to VII- Periodic Tests are conducted as per the Examination  Schedule given in the year book and a Mid Term examination in September/ October based on the course covered. Final examinations are held in February/ March. Regularity in attendance during all tests is imperative. There is no provision of a retest.

 SCHEME OF EXAMINATION AND ASSESSMENTS

  1. The academic year is divided into two terms and examinations are held at the end of each term.
  2. Evaluation of the Scholastic Aspect will be conducted according to the C.B.S.E guidelines which are tabulated below.
  3. Attendance for tests for all classes from VI to VIII is compulsory.
  4. Students found using unfair means during any Periodic Test or Term Examination will be marked zero in that subject. Thee students will not be eligible for any academic award for school appointment.
  5. The final result will be calculated by taking 10% weightage of the Periodic Test + 10% weightage of Note Book, Subject Enrichment Activities and Attendance + 80% weightage of Half Yearly and Final Exam.
  6. We hope that with the cooperation and support of the parents, we shall be able to make a success of this system which is a path breaking initiative taken by C.B.S.E to aspire for holistic development of the students in a conducive environment.

With restoration of class X Board examination with effect from Academic Year 2017-18, the assessment structure and examination for class IX will be similar to that of class X.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION AND ASSESSMENTS

  1. Evaluation of the Scholastic Aspect will be conducted according to the C.B.S.E guidelines which are tabulated below.
  2. Grading scale for Scholastic Areas (class IX)

Co-Scholastic Activities (IX-X) : For the holistic development of the students the co-curricular activities and discipline areas will be graded on five point grading scale (A-E).

  1. Students found using unfair means during any Periodic Test or Term Examination will be marked zero in that subject. The students will not be eligible for any academic award for school appointment.
  2. We hope that with the cooperation and support of the parents, we shall be able to make a success of this system which is a path breaking initiative taken by C.B.S.E to aspire for holistic development of the students in a conducive environment.

PROMOTION POLICY / RULES

  1. In order to Be declared as ‘Passed’ a candidate shall obtain not less than 33% marks in each of the five subjects separately and in aggregate.
  2. Students has to secure 33% marks out of overall 20 marks earmarked in each subject in Internal Assessment too.
  3. If a student gets less than 33% in one subject, his/her promotion I the said subject will be as per the guidelines issued by Director of Education /Central Board of Secondary Education/ State Eligibility Test.
  4. A students having less than 75% attendance in an academic session shall not be permitted to appear in the Final Examination.
  5. Any other promotion rule applicable as per the policy of Directorate of Education, Govt. of State/CBSE.
  6. Students will be awarded Marks as well as grades in class IX.
  7. It is mandatory to appear in all Examinations.
